Question, Persuade, refer (QPR) Suicide prevention gatekeeper training
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among college students. The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health has begun working tirelessly to counteract this fact. Through our latest and potentially most ambitious initiative yet, we have the goal of training a minimum of 1,000 members of Ohio’s campus-community in Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a suicide prevention gatekeeper training course that prepares trainees to ask the important questions. We hope you will join us in achieving this feat. See the signs, start the conversation in your campus-community, save a life!
