Assistance for every writing level

Helping students, faculty and staff with many writing needs.

What does the Writing Center do?

We can help with match portfolios, personal statements, CVs, manuscripts, scholarship applications, dissertations, speeches, essays for class, grant proposals, journal articles, poster presentations, and more.

Appointments are required. Request an appointment and/or submit a document for review through CampusGroups.

About 80% of requests are handled asynchronously: You submit your writing, and a tutor reviews the document and screenshares a critique with suggestions along with tracked changes that include written comments and edits. In-person and Zoom appointments are also offered.

SLL students: Individualized tutoring and resources are available. Request SLL assistance.

Where is the Writing Center located?

The Writing Center is located in the library, in L202-A.

How can the Writing Center be improved?

After every appointment, you will be asked to complete a survey. The survey data will help us improve our services, to offer you all the best support possible.
