Reporting units
Here are some of the units that report to the Office of the Provost.
Admissions
The Office of Admission counsels prospective students about NEOMED educational programs, admission requirements, tuition, fees, and the cost of attendance.
Faculty Affairs
Information supporting University faculty affairs and governance including documentation on various aspects of faculty work and related reporting; guidance and support for faculty appointment, promotion, tenure, evaluation, and recognition; and faculty bylaws, academic policies and procedures that affect faculty.
Faculty affairs at NEOMED.
Financial Aid
Through its administration of federal, state, and institutional student aid programs, the Office of Financial Aid at NEOMED is committed to supporting NEOMED’s goals of enrolling and graduating highly talented graduate, medical, and pharmacy students.
Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research (IR) provides data and analysis to support the University’s decision-making, strategic planning, mandated reporting and program review. IR collects, analyzes, and reports data on a variety of topics, including student enrollment, faculty and staff demographics, financial performance, and academic outcomes.
Learning Center
As a professional student, you are joining an elite population of learners. You have the opportunity to create and direct your own learning environment. Some students believe that they will be able to keep the same strategies that were used in undergraduate study and simply work harder. A more successful academic strategy is to adjust your approach based on the tremendous volume of material, limited time, the essential components of learning and your personal learning styles and strengths. Our Learning Center can help.
Library
The on-campus Library is an active partner in the educational and research activities of the university. Through its spaces within the Aneal Mohan Kohli Academic and Information Technology Center (Kohli Center), its digital and print collections, and its services, the Library reaches nearly all faculty, staff and students. The library has seven affiliate hospitals throughout Northeast Ohio that it supports in the areas of print circulation and access to e-resources.
Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for maintaining and archiving student records, the student registration process, enrollment reporting for the institution to state and federal agencies and degree audit and conferrals. Current students and alumni can contact the Office of the Registrar to request official transcripts, enrollment verifications and degree verifications. Student registration questions and inquiries to view a student’s record should be directed to the Office of the Registrar.
Student Accessibility Services
Students are encouraged to disclose known disabilities and request reasonable accommodations as early as possible. Delaying disclosure until academic difficulty arises may jeopardize program completion. For more information, visit the Accessibility Services website.
Student Services
The Office of Student Services supports the academic and personal success of students at NEOMED through learning support and advising, student organizations, leadership and service, credentialing, campus event, orientation, student advocacy and student involvement.
Testing Services
Testing Services coordinates all aspects of students testing including administration, logistics and support to all students, staff and faculty. Examinations may include, but are not limited to, written, oral, practical or laboratory evaluations, quizzes, and medical students’ NBME subject examinations. Visit Testing Services at NEOMED.
