Responsibilities & Services

The Office of Institutional Research facilitates and coordinates the collection, analysis and interpretation of institutional data to support assessment and improvement initiatives and to support institutional planning and decision-making.

Our responsibilities include:

• providing statistical descriptions of the institution;
• coordinating required reports to federal and state agencies;
• assisting with institutional planning processes; and
• lending support to others’ institutional research questions.

Strategies for fulfilling these responsibilities include:

• managing information within the existing data infrastructure to address internal and external data requests;
• staying informed about current planning activities at NEOMED and higher education issues statewide;
• delivering meaningful information to support decision-making and policy development; and
• serving as the institutional data coordinator.
