Ensuring Biological Safety
The Institutional Biosafety Committee is a committee of the president that assures compliance for the biological safety aspects during the use of recombinant DNA, infectious agents (bacteria, fungi, parasites, viruses, and prions), mutagens and carcinogens, biological toxins, and biohazardous materials.
