A four-day, immersive summer program for undergraduate students exploring careers in health care.

Who it’s for

  • Students seeking firsthand exposure to health professions before committing to a specific academic or career path
  • Participants interested in learning through experience, not just observation

What you’ll do

  • Engage in hands-on learning activities across such fields as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and health research
  • Participate in faculty-led sessions and small-group workshops
  • Experience learning environments that reflect real academic and clinical settings

Why it matters

  • Gain practical insight into a wide range of health careers
  • Build foundational academic, clinical, and professional skills
  • Develop a clearer understanding of how health professionals work together within health system

Where do students stay?

Students will stay at a Kent State University residence hall with all meals and transportation to and from NEOMED included with tuition.

  • Tuition is $250. Some waivers may be available. Information on how to apply will be available in February.

What happened to MEDCAMP?

  • MEDCAMP is now Health Careers Bootcamp, offering more days and more opportunities to explore a range of careers in the health professions.
