External scholarships
Private organizations often notify the Office of Financial Aid about external scholarship opportunities. We share these with students through campus email, the Pulse e-newsletter, and a downloadable PDF of current opportunities.
Use caution when applying for external scholarships. Some groups assert they can help you find financial aid or guaranteed awards, but their real goal may be to take your money or collect your personal information. The Federal Trade Commission offers guidance on how to spot and avoid scholarship and financial aid scams.
