Dr. Kent-Strollo was named the University’s inaugural dean of students in July 2025.

Before joining NEOMED, she was director of the Women’s and Children’s Service Line at Bon Secours Mercy Health, but most of her career was spent at Youngstown State University. She is also a current member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses (OAAPN), Youngstown’s Non-Violence Committee and the YSU Hall of Fame Committee. During her time at YSU, she was involved with Women Leaders in College Sports, the Higher Education Case Managers Association (HECMA) and the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA).

Dr. Kent-Strollo earned her doctorate in educational leadership from University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Kent State University and is a certified nurse practitioner in the State of Ohio.
