Grant opportunities

“Thank you for the opportunity to partner with Northeast Ohio Medical University and other community organizations and provide programs for suicide prevention and pathways for participants to seek help and reduce the stigma of mental health.”

2026 Campus-Community Collaborative Grants

For over a decade, we’ve supported campus-community partnerships through the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health. Our grant program is all about helping campuses create meaningful initiatives — whether it’s suicide prevention, mental health promotion or reducing stigma. We’re here to support faculty, staff and students across Ohio’s colleges and universities in building healthier, more supportive campus communities.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FY26 Campus-Community Collaborative Grants has now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal!

Statewide support

Through our grants, we’re working to expand access to training and technical assistance by bringing public health expertise directly to campuses. Over the years, we’ve grown our collaborative funding and partnership opportunities with both local and regional institutions. Since 2010, more than 100 colleges, universities and campus-community partners across Ohio have received support, and we’re proud to keep that momentum going.
