Simulation Enhanced Interprofessional Education
Interprofessional education is the process by which individuals from two or more health professions learn with, from, and about each other across the spectrum of their education to improve collaboration, practice, and the quality of healthcare.
Simulation Enhanced Interprofessional Education (Sim-IPE)
Through collaborations and partnerships with regional university and college health professions education programs, the Wasson Center at NEOMED leads simulation enhanced IPE health care team trainings. These programs teach the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become clinically competent providers who practice culturally congruent care in a team-based approach.
