NEOMED’s leadership team works every day to carry out the University’s mission, vision and values while moving the University forward. Guided by the Board of Trustees, the team leads NEOMED’s divisions, programs and services, all with the goal of creating transformational leaders in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and the health sciences.

Office of the President
John Langell, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., M.B.A., is the seventh and current president of NEOMED.
Dr. Langell has more than 25 years of experience in higher education, and has served in senior leadership positions in academic health care, industry and nonprofit organizations, and the federal government — as a commander in the U.S. Air Force.
