Research interests
I am a theoretically trained statistician with a strong biological background who uses biostatistics, data science and AI to solve interdisciplinary problems, often through novel applications or the development of methodologies.
My curiosity about how life works and evolves at all levels, whether it be genetic or environmental, or about complex systems and population dynamics is unending.
Most of my research now has a nexus to public health, medicine, and related disciplines. My primary areas of interest and expertise are sampling, clinical trial and experimental design, advanced modeling and forecasting, and methods in artificial intelligence.
