New dean appointed

Sorin T. Teich, D.M.D., M.B.A., has been appointed dean of the college. He will join NEOMED on July 1.

Dr. Teich joins us from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine in Charleston, where he served as a professor and the associate dean of clinical affairs.

Northeast Ohio Medical University to pursue dental college

Northeast Ohio Medical University announced that it will pursue the development of a College of Dentistry. The University presented a needs assessment to the NEOMED Board of Trustees during its quarterly meeting held Thursday, Sept. 15 and was granted approval to add a dental college to improve health in Northeast Ohio and beyond.
