A Prescription for the Future
The College of Pharmacy’s strategic plan was created through an inclusive and collaborative effort to further advance the mission and vision of the college. It was finalized in late 2023 and approved for implementation in January 2024 as a three-year plan. The plan focuses on four areas:
- Curriculum and Student Experience
- People and Operations
- Research and Scholarship
- Outreach and Relationship Building
The College of Pharmacy plan has been designed to intentionally align with the University plan. Monitoring of the plan will be centralized and coordinated through the Office of Assessment.
Strategic Goal 1
Curriculum and Student Experience: Deliver a curriculum and student experience that will prepare team and practice-ready pharmacists.

1.2 Exceptional Student Experience: Maintain top rated student outcomes while increasing the resources dedicated to promoting students’ academic, professional, and personal success.
1.3 Develop and deliver a state-of-the-art curriculum that leverages the differential advantages of the COP for our students and graduates

Outreach and Relationship Building: Assure professional, practice, alumni, and community relationships are vital in supporting the educational mission of the COP.
