A club to explore careers in pharmacy

The Pre-Pharmacy Club is for high school students, undergraduate college students and graduates interested in a career in pharmacy.

Our group meets once a month, September through April, on the NEOMED campus.

Every month, we engage in pharmacy-related activities and we connect with current pharmacy students, faculty members and pharmacists.

Through hands-on activities and active learning sessions, you will gain insights into the roles of pharmacists and explore various career pathways. While we encourage regular attendance at our monthly events, participation is optional.

When
Typically, meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month from 6 – 7 p.m.

Reward program
Members who attend three events within an academic year (September through April) will receive a special Pre-Pharmacy Club pin.

Previous events
Our past events have included compounding lab sessions (featuring ointments, lozenges, emulsions, lip balm, etc.), pharmacy scavenger hunt, pharmacy specialty area guest speakers such as ambulatory care and anticoagulation management, pharmacy school application workshops, and more.
